How to Install Shoe Charms

Installing your shoe charms only takes a few seconds when done correctly.

Step 1: Choose Your Spot

Select the hole where you would like to place your shoe charm. Make sure the area is clean and free from dirt.

Step 2: Insert at a 45° Angle

Hold the charm with the decorative side facing up. Insert the base of the charm into the shoe hole at approximately a 45-degree angle.

Step 3: Push Through

Using your thumb or finger, apply firm, even pressure until the back of the charm pops through the hole.

Tip: Avoid twisting the charm while installing it, as this can damage the backing or front of the charm.

Step 4: Check It's Secure

Gently pull on the charm to ensure it has locked into place. Your shoe charm is now ready to show off!

How to Remove Shoe Charms

Removing shoe charms properly helps prevent damage to both the charm and your shoes.

Step 1: Reach Inside the Shoe

Turn your shoe over or place your fingers inside so you can access the back of the charm.

Step 2: Push from the Back

Using your thumb, firmly push the back of the charm upward through the hole.

Important: Never pull the charm from the decorative front, as this may cause the backing to snap or become damaged.

Step 3: Remove at an Angle

As the backing begins to come through, gently guide the charm out at a 45-degree angle.
